I just made a addition to this post on how to make gifs. they are so much fun.

I do not use the apps, I open a second browser window.

For ready made gifs I just copy and paste. It works most of the time.

Finally I can ask this question: why do people use cuts and spoiler cuts together in their posts? Why not use one or the other?

I think for dramatic effect or if it's pic heavy

thats bc you can only use cuts in the post but not in the comments.

oops re-read your comment, but the first comment is probably right.

It's for pictures/division of content. You can only do the major cut once in a post and if you have other content it needs to go behind a spoiler cut.
