Personally I like to just add width= "any number" height="any number"> to the end of the img url so that you don't have to change the size of the photos.
For example < img src=" url " width=60% height=60%" >
The width and height can be percentages or just numbers.
i can't remember if there's a way to directly do it off twitter on your phone but you can also embed a twitter link through the video icon (press "from another website" > input the regular twitter link in the "media" box, click insert)
