I just picture that cowboy bar from the Rawhide scene in Blues Brothers with the chicken wire around the stage and bottles smashing against it the whole show.
What do people see as the end game? No more touring? Performing behind glass? What is wrong with these audiences? Who pays enough money to sit throwing distance and then hurts the person they’ve paid to see?!
I can definitely see artists starting to perform behind fencing or shatterproof glass. These people are really going to ruin things for a lot of legit fans
Also just not letting people bring stuff into venues including their phone. As I stated in one of the other posts, I wont be going anywhere I cant bring my phone anymore. So no more venues, concerts or festivals for me that try to ban phones. Oh well.
A lot of these injuries are ending up being eye-related and I wouldn’t fuck around with it at all. I’d be paying someone to construct a safety wall/box/whatever before doing shows at this point.
They need to start arresting fans like the one that threw the phone at Bebe Rexha. This is getting ridiculous. Why would you as a fan throw something at an artist you paid to come see? Makes zero sense to me.

At this point I wouldn't blame singers for putting up plexiglass barriers in front of the stage to protect their safety. People are fucking crazy.

Definitely or, at least, throw them out! Harry's doing stadiums, those places have millions of cameras. Find the person, haul them out.
