What do people see as the end game? No more touring? Performing behind glass? What is wrong with these audiences? Who pays enough money to sit throwing distance and then hurts the person they’ve paid to see?!
I can definitely see artists starting to perform behind fencing or shatterproof glass. These people are really going to ruin things for a lot of legit fans
Also just not letting people bring stuff into venues including their phone. As I stated in one of the other posts, I wont be going anywhere I cant bring my phone anymore. So no more venues, concerts or festivals for me that try to ban phones. Oh well.
They would also have to severely limit what, if any, concessions they sell once you're in the venue. I was at a venue last year that let people buy glass bottles of wine. Others still sell bottled water and cans of Red Bull and hard seltzers. Any one of those things can cause damage when thrown.
These incidents could end up changing the entire concert going experience as we've known it
