It is fun and mindless.

I did not like episode 8, mostly because it focused too much on Marco, Parker and Ben, who were the focus of 95% of the episode it seemed. I like the business stuff more than the personal stuff, or at least a stronger mix of it, and that one did not do a good job of providing that balance.
But episode 9, with the kid being pulled out of line to see Madeline? That moment almost had me tearing up in public at the airport!
Overall, it was a decent enough show. People saying that it gives Ugly Betty vibes were kind of off base, because Betty was just more entertaining overall. And I really think the show pivoted hard with Parker's season 1 endgame. That made no sense. I really want to see who they cast as the character they showed without showing if S2 happens. And, Chad's left handed, which is something that I, as a fellow lefty, am always appreciative of.

they really messed up because I don't think he at all was gaslighting marco, and only brought up toning down the glam/femme after marco did it of his own volition? it just seemed lazy / poorly thought out.
Also I want Marco to stay away from Ben so he can stay with Parker and be toxic together imo

I was just looking for sweet, mindless, gay fun for Pride because it's brutal out here. It was just so nice to see the fun stuff be all about queer people instead of just shunted to the side story.
