I agree with all your points except #1. Wasn't it just one of Lily's violin or piano or something recitals? I would not expect one of my parent's friends, or my godparent if i had one, to cherish or remember that forever. Even Lily seems unenthusiastic about it.
2. Che is awful and just needs to go away. What a waste of Sara Ramirez.
3. Miranda is an entirely different character now. They took away her characteristic sensible, responsible nature completely. She decides she's passionate about public interest law and then ditches it completely for a partner she just met? And doesn't give a fuck about cheating? No way.
4. I hadn't seen that before but isn't that also incredibly offensive to non-binary folks? How would Miranda consider herself a lesbian if her partner does not identify as female?
6. Right?! Why is everyone's acting terrible in AJLT? Although I did think SJP did a great job this episode with the podcast storyline. She used to be a terrible crier but her breakdown was really touching. Seeing the words melt on the page was ( ... )

that's so selfish. She could play a new character that imitates her own life, but Miranda was a developed character over 6 seasons who was nothing like Cynthia Nixon. How do you just rewrite a whole character.
