I think it just took awhile for the letter to make the rounds. I found it yesterday and passed it along privately to fellow union actors because anyone with the link could just add their name. We ended up having over 2K signatures though. The ability to add more signatures was closed earlier today. The anonymous originators of the letter have to go through and verify the names are legit still. There were some last night that were questionably added - like weird phrases after the name. They were quickly edited out. Long story short, it’ll be interesting to see what happens next. At the end of the day, this letter was for the SAG-AFTRA Leadership and Negotiating Committee but also, indirectly, for AMPTP ( ... )

and the way that black mirror writers foresaw this concern with ep 1 of the new season, they BEEN fighting for SAG but i don't see any of this energy reciprocated
