I think it was in the latest ep that Glenn said something like he’ll get real into some random health thing but like a week later he’ll easily go the opposite direction once he learns new info. Like he’s not knowledgeable about health, it’s more like he’s quick to get into whatever new thing he reads up about and discuss it with people. Dangerous to get into things like that and talk to people (especially a large audience) so confidently as if you actually know what you’re talking about.

I walked by a kava bar once and all I saw were people hitting those industrial sized vapes and knew it wasn't for me. It seems like an LA industry person thing to do.

Oh sorry, it is a tea, I just saw all the clientele with the giant vapes and thought the crowd wasn't for me. Sorry if that was worded oddly.

wasn't there recently an energy drink sold on gas stations that also had a high content of an opiod-adjacent substance?
I find these things so scary

Is this the result of barely any regulations in the US?

This is why I'm worried about podcasters/youtubers/influencers shilling supplements. They do no research and are going off of the promotional information given to them by the people selling the stuff and their own personal experience.

I know a significant number of people who found kratom helpful for depression and getting off opioids but a lot of them are now having issues with physical addiction to it and get withdrawals when they cut back. It's not something people should casually add to their diet in the form of an energy drink unless they understand the risks.
