I'm so confused by this. Where is this happening? It's on reddit but also It's Always Sunny and a podcast? Is there supposed to be something in the post that isn't showing up?

IASIP actors have a podcast, that pod has a subreddit, people are discussing this kratom bevvy on the subreddit

IASIP has a podcast by Mac, Dennis, and Charlie's actors (and it features one of the show's writers, Megan Ganz as well) where they're supposed to give recaps and background information about each episode of the show. They've gotten off-tangent early on and would use their podcast to talk about random things, but fans would note that the podcast episodes would be even on discussing the show, then discussing random things. But they've since kinda slid into talking more about random things rather than the show itself (such as Rob's actor going on a rant once about nearly fighting in an In-N-Out parking lot, which has nothing to do with the show).

They tend to go into pseudoscience discussion too (this is based on what my husband would report back to me, and what commenters on the subreddit have said).

Dennis' actor, for example, has talked about how vegetables are bad for you on a past podcast (mind you, he used to be vegan and plant-based but he's also jumped onto a bunch of other fad diets).

Good kava can be very intense with one shell. Like kava from Vanuatu that's been chewed by a Ni-Van hits hard. Although think that's rare these days with covid.

The thing with kava is it can be very difficult to dose specifically. You have to make sure you get enough with the first shell, and it's not too watered down.

I just want to know more about behind the scenes etc of the episode each podcast is supposed to be about and you listen and they hardly mention it.

They have been schilling weird stuff and it's not like they need the money surely. I mean Kava is banned in the UK for links with liver toxicity it doesn't sound like a great product.

I like the off topic stuff, but I agree that I prefer actual episode talk. My favorite is when they watch the ep on the pod and add commentary. And I would love more behind the scenes info, stuff about the particular ep’s actors and memories of filming it, etc

Majority of the time you leave the pod with no info about the episode it’s suppose to be about, lol. But sometimes the random discussions are fun/interesting

I loved finding out that the cereal defence came from Glen doing that in real life, it's hard to tell where he ends and Dennis begins.

But I'm bored when they go on about their current day to day life because they're mainly whiny rich men.

Not me finding out just now that kava can be bad for you and your liver. I’ve had it about half a dozen times. Gonna reach out to an acquaintance who does liver transplants. 🙃
