I will say, I thought Ben Platt was actually good in this one, even if I will never forgive him for 2017.

Lol he was good, but not as good as Josh Groban! (And his singing wasnt nearly as strong as other performances i have seen of the role). I do think "rude and awkward nebishy Jewish man" is more in his wheelhouse lol.

I get that there is another strong contender who might deserve it most (and would be fine with them winning instead), but between Platt and Groban I would be so passed if Platt stole it from Groban again.

I hope the sheer purposeful ineptitude of PPGW came through on the stage.

I cannot understand how PPGW didn't get at least a nomination for Stage Design. I don't think I've ever laughed more in my laugh at that show, and I had already seen it on YouTube.

In general, I'm usually not a fan of the little bits that the host and presenters do at awards shows so I was hoping that having no writers for the Tonys this year meant that everyone would just read the list of nominees and announce the winners and keep the show tight!

Absolutely insane that score wouldn't be considered a prime time category...it's the most important part of a musical, IMO!
