The 76th Annual Tony Awards will air on June 11 (preshow content on Pluto TV at 6:30pm EDT, an exclusive first hour on Paramount+ at 7 pm EDT, and the ceremony at 8pm EDT on Paramount+ and CBS). Ariana DeBose will host the show again.
Although the WGA granted a waiver allowing the show to go on (the compromise: the Tonys agreed to do an unscripted ceremony and the WGA will not picket the show), they have asked Tony-nominated members not to attend. The WGA is asking nominees to either pre-tape an acceptance speech or have a non-member accept the award on their behalf.
