I watched JB's back then, havent started on Elizabeth´s yet, but the first one already had my respect for commiting to Candy's terrible hairdo.

I was surprised by how good Jessica Biel was. She played Candy as the socipath she was down to a T.

Jessica Biel is pretty great in this, unsurprising because she was also great in The Sinner. Is it weird to say I don’t think she’s taken as seriously because she’s married to JT?

I haven’t watched the HBO version and most likely won’t because I’ve already watched it on Hulu. Always crazy to me how networks put out shows and movies that are about the same thing at the same time. Like we don’t need 2 shows about this.

I get that dumping on Timberlake is fun, but come on. She was never really taken seriously as an actress, and while it's nice that she's producing now and finding roles that she's good in, it would've been the same no matter who her spouse is.

Yeah, there's even a joke about it on Bojack Horseman.

Elizabeth Olsen is exaggerating every minute facial expression in this scene.

I haven’t seen either show and don’t care for either of them, but I feel like Olsen did a better performance in this scene. I see I’m in the minority, lol.

It’s A LOT, but isn’t it supposed to be? Like, she’s a straight up psycho, of course her interpretation of what happened will show her as this overly emotional victim.

Where it stops for me is that I read this version plays this as a factual scene and that’s screwed up if the audience doesn’t look into the case more.

I also like Lynskey’s acting more than the other woman’s acting.

I've watched both shows and the HBO version is way better imo. It also has a great soundtrack.

It's really hard to beat David E Kelly imo

Hbo didn’t even try to make it feel like the 80’s.
Hulu got everything right.
