Looking at Kate's filmography she really did blow up! Right after Heavenly Creatures, she did Sense & Sensibility and got her first Oscar nod! And then Titanic 2 years later!!

My most bonkers friend break up was when I got married in FL & my childhood best friend came. It was a super casual wedding but still had normal stuff like pictures right after the ceremony.

She came up to me right after that to let me know she was leaving because I wasn’t spending any time with her. Like…what?? I texted her later and she doubled down on that, how she didn’t come all that way to be ignored. Never talked again lmao

I literally realised this week she was in heavenly creatures (I haven't seen it in 20+ years) and had to sit with that for a while. Anyway, I lost touch with plenty of people over the years but I've only had one dramatic friend break-up. He turned out to be an abuser so I cut him out of my life, still friends with his exes tho.
