She came up to me right after that to let me know she was leaving because I wasn’t spending any time with her. Like…what?? I texted her later and she doubled down on that, how she didn’t come all that way to be ignored. Never talked again lmao
Ones like that always make you feel glad you didn’t waste anymore time on them but the ones that Melanie us talking about? Those definitely hurt

The best part is that bc it was such a chill day we had a beach party with our friends after the reception. Would have been plenty of time to catch up!

Yeah, weddings are the absolute worst if you actually want to spend time with the bride/groom. We only had a small wedding with mostly family and a few close friends and I could barely have a talk with anyone.
(Weddings are fun though when you're a guest and you have other guests you like to hang out with.)

When my good friend got married, she apologised to me during the reception that she hadn't spoken to me and I was like "??? In what world are you apologising to me? Go make the rounds to your fam and friends!" I never expected to have two minutes alone with her and wasn't pressed by it since I text her and see her all the time. (Although, I do wish we got a picture, but whatever!)
