Melanie Lynskey says losing touch with Kate Winslet was more heartbreaking than the end of some of her relationships.
She said nothing happened, it was just the gradual distancing over the years especially as Kate turned into a mega movie star. Melanie says they would be in Los Angeles at the same time but Kate would be too busy and she wouldn’t hear from her.
The two filmed “Heavenly Creatures” in 1994.
I couldn’t find it on a quick google but allegedly they were last seen together in 2009.
