Good for her for telling her story and expressing her struggles. I’m happy that she’s in a better place.

I’ve been toying with the idea of cutting out alcohol from my life. I only drink on weekends with friends but the older I get the more alcohol makes me feel like shiiiit the next day, sometimes even with just three drinks. I’m also tired of how much money I spend when I go out. I really enjoy nightlife though and I’m curious how to navigate that as someone not drinking. I hate how it seems like every social function I’m at alcohol has to be involved.

Happy birthday for tomorrow!!!! When I decided to get sober no one understood or thought it was necessary. Everyone around me was exactly the same. But I can only guess it wasn't an obsession for them like it was for me. I got sober anyway. I don't talk to any of those people anymore. I don't know if they developed a healthy relationship as they got older. I hope so.

I watched something similar happen to a friend of a friend. His drinking was taking a huge toll on his life and he finally had a wakeup call and decided to get sober. Some of his friends HATED it (which made no sense to me because he was funny and charming when he was sober so it wasn’t like they were losing Fun Bobby), and they were very vocal about their disapproval. They would loudly ask what he was drinking to draw everyone’s attention to the fact that it was a non-alcoholic beverage. Then they would berate him and call him a p*ssy for not drinking, despite the fact that they clearly saw how it had been destroying his life. And these weren’t 18 year old frat boys. These were grown ass men in their 40s yelling at an adult man for not drinking.

Probably a super dumb question but I really don’t know, does alcohol taste different to alcoholics like does it become „mmmmh YUMMY this vodka tastes DELICIOUS refreshing, just like ice tea!“ or is it more like „ugh it’s disgusting but my body NEEDS it to I will suffer through that bottle of vodka anyway“

but you can get this "ahhhh" sort of "relaxing" feeling when you finally get your hands on it.

Omg totally. I rembember when i would need my fix so bad, getting to the supermarket and getting my hands on the bottle to feeling the slosh hit my stomach was such a high. The ritual of getting it was more thrilling than the hours later tbh

good for her for coming forward. not a lot of people say this.

i saw on tiktok about like when you black out from alcohol, it's an overdose 🥴. i never knew that and i was blacking out a lot, specially during 2019 and 2020. i cut my alcohol intake in 2021 and i haven't drank a lot in ages. maybe once every two months or so, and just 2 beers. i don't really need alcohol to have fun. but honestly, once you stop drinking a lot, lots of fun events go out from life lol. i barely go out anymore 🥲

It's brave of her to open up and great that she's sober now <3

I remember watching PLL and hating the fuck out of Aria, but I've always thought Lucy was very charming on screen. I also loved her face, she looked like a doll but not one of those boring ones, more like a Monster high doll or something lol She looks good with pretty much any hairstyle.

She’s so ridiculously beautiful with such a stunning face, I really hope she doesn’t overdo it was the fillers and Botox.
