I was hesitant to watch because Jesse Eisenberg annoys me, but it was good. Claire is great, as always. Jesse was annoying, but it fit the character.

I really liked it! It is very white upper middle
class “my life is fraught with suffering while I cry into my $2,000 pillows” but I actually missed watching an adult drama about real life, family, relationships, loss of youth etc. because so many tv shows these days are about fantasy and murders or whatever.

I haven’t read the book but I liked the literary aspects of the show.

They’re one of those couples that I’m always glad to see is still together. Like it wouldn’t shock me if a divorce announcement but it’s nice to see they’re still a happy couple. If that makes sense lol. Anyway I started doing a rewatch of Hannibal this weekend and it’s such a great comfort show for me.

I watched Fleishman and it was decent. Claire is addicted to certain character type though. I thought her major crying days were over w/homeland but nope.
