This really is just a discussion post for S2 which was absolutely fantastic.

Good to know since I was planning to watch it (and season 1 as well) because of Yamapi. I hope his character has enough screen time.

Was it confirmed? I thought it was a rumor because I remember reading online the photos were altered or something like that.

All the news I read said they were confirmed and the club admitted that it was their fault for allowing minors in without fully checking their ages.

I'm only like 4 episodes into the new season, but I am really enjoying it.

I love that the show has so many strong female characters that all have different skills.

I hope more Japanese dramas get released on Netflix now, although it does feel like it's starting to increase.

The Pace in S1 dropped after they got to the Beach imo. This series had better pace overall but they sprinkled too many monologues throughout. Esp in the Queen of Spades game. Which imo hurt the pacing. Jack of Hearts had none of that and was probably the best game in the show.

I liked this season a lot and I think the ending was solid. But I also totally wish we had gotten more time with the other games and more Ann and Kuina time!

[Spoiler (click to open)]I wanna know what that king of hearts maze shit was!! And Kuina/Ann as a team deserved more time. I also wish they hadn’t split up the cast so much (I assume bc of Covid?) but they stuck the landing enough for me to forgive anything. I loved it 😭

I'd say I liked season two a lot more than season one.

Could of done without seeing [spoiler]yamapi's butt multiple times because it really gave nothing to the story and I ended up skipping some parts because I was annoyed with it.

Although there were characters that weren't the main characters, I kind of wanted to see them more later on. [spoiler] the murderer guy and the guy in the suit from the uh prison game thing.

I should try finishing season 1. I like dystopian stuff but I could NOT handle that genre in December 2020

I'm finally getting back into dystopia and zombie media now. I think I was way too jaded about real life in 2020 and 2021 to appreciate the fiction.
