The video was filmed at Yale University's rink, where Nathan is currently a freshman.

I thought he'd been at Yale for a few years now?

He has been since like 2019. I do believe he wasn't doing a full course load with skating but I'd be surprised if he was still a freshman. Either that info is a little out of date or he reallllly didn't do as much school as he let the media believe with the endless "how do you balance both" questions lol.

he took some time off from yale olympic season iirc. he's officially been studying there since 18/19 but academically maybe he's still a freshman, idk

Disappointed he didn't at least wear an all black costume, the hoodie look is ruining his lines. Nathan's lack of attention to costumes has always bothered me. I also think they could have done this video like a gala video with spotlights and cool shots, maybe even black and white. The way it is right now its a bit amateurish I even thought it was a fanmade vid. I hope he gets lots of cash for it tho! lol

Nathan come back to competition! The men’s field is so lackluster this year he wouldn’t even have to do 6 quad free skate to podium lol I also think Yuzu has to be a little bit wanting to pull a Tom Brady and un retire seeing their current men’s season so far. At least we’re gonna get a mini Jason Brown comeback

Yeah the men’s field is pretty meh right now. But I feel like that’s kinda standard for a post Olympic season.

yuzuru and nathan being done and yuma being injured has made mens unwatchable, tbh. not a single musical accent is being hit at these competitions, it's painful

Nah, I'm glad Yuzuru's retired - why come back to a sport that doesn't appreciate him? He knows it, he's said it himself. He's thriving right now doing his solo show and I'm happy for him.

The field is pretty empty but there are some other great male skaters - Junhwan Cha, Sota Yamamoto, Adam Siao Him Fa, Kevin Aymoz all come to my mind. And they're far more "artistic" than Nathan ever was, I'd take their skating over endless quads any day!
