and the baby that did survive was hospitalized in july which was the reason he didn't show up for pre-season. in this one specific instance, team cr7 bc that's incredibly shitty of the club.

This seems like such a terrible reaction. "He said we're heartless assholes forcing him to the curb?! How dare he, let's kick him out and sue him for saying we're mean."

He will almost definitely have a clause in his contract that he can’t just badmouth the club in the media, he has also behaved like a petulant child all season, including recently refusing to come on as a sub (so essentially refusing to do his job he is paid £££ for) and leaving the ground after he has been subbed off
The club are not innocent in this but this man child doesn’t deserve your sympathy (except for the horrific loss he suffered, and if the club weren’t supportive of him at that time then that’s terrible but doesn’t negate his subsequent behaviour)

Oh, he for sure has no sympathy for me (outside of losing a child, of course), this dude clearly sucks from what the other comments have reported. But it's interesting to learn more about the background of this, as I'm not much a sport person, so thanks for sharing! :)

Definitely not what is happening.

ROnaldo tried to leave in the summer and no one wanted him because he is not good and too expensive.
He missed training and therefore was unfit to start and also cannot keep up with the new system so he is not a guaranteed starter.
He literllay defamed his employers, and coach, and teamates. I dont care who you are, thats going to get you in trouble.
He wants to leave and is doing this to trigger this clause.

It's not a terrible reaction at all
