i did not read the pics in this post (typical) but i do kind of wonder if the keanu and salma stuff are just throw away sentences in a bigger work that's more meaningfully focused on addiction and recovery. but i think that's me giving him too much credit tbh

It's about his struggles but he also talks about a lot of people. He threw Valerie Bertinelli under the bus by sharing how he once made out with her next to her passed-out husband. Also, said he went on a date with Cameron Diaz and she got stoned and punched him in the face.

Ugh that’s so gross. He should have kept those names anonymous- both because it’s bad to out someone like that but also for the publicity! If he kept those names secret we’d all be gossiping about who they could be instead of talking about how much he sucks.

TL;DR - he complained that Chris Farley and River Phoenix died and implied that he wished Keanu Reeves had died in their place. That would be pretty awful normally but it's especially cruel that he mentioned River because River and Keanu were very close and Keanu was devastated by River's death and it took him years to recover.

Thanx! Damn, that's really hurtful, not the kind of thing you publish in a book, especially when Keanu is someone known to be kind to everyone.

There's so many headlines and stories from his book out there already... there's no point in even buying the book at this point. It's really been overkill.

I second whoever said he needs therapy. He just comes across as very bitter about his life not turning out the way he wanted and him not having the career he wanted; I also take issue with him trash talking all these famous women and Keanu - it’s gross. Did he really think writing this book was going to make him happy? Solve his problems? Help him deal with his demons? Based on excerpts he just comes across as an asshole.

He has an obscene amount of money but not he career he wants. His therapist could buy a yacht digging deep into that.
