ONTD Original: Terrible movies with great soundtracks

Sometimes, as the title implies, an awful movie ends up with a confusingly good soundtrack. Maybe the director/producer had connections. Perhaps it was a big-budget movie that had the ca$h to blow on the rights to use the music, but the movie itself was butchered in post. Or they used black magic. Who knows ( Read more... )

there was a song I really liked from the Sucker Punch soundtrack...I think it was a mashup of We Will Rock you and I Want it All.

I'm big on cover songs so the Not Another Teen Movie soundtrack is one of my favorites.

The horror Urban Legend is dreck, utter Jared Leto starring dreck but the soundtrack is great. I own it on CD!

The Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland. Meh film (though I did love Anne Hathaway as the White Queen and Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat), amazing soundtrack.
