I follow him on SM and he genuinely seems like a really nice person and a good dad but this is probably for the best. The Conners is such a terrible show. - instead of writing real situations like the OG show did, they have the worst storylines and just extremely unfunny writing. None of the characters resemble anything they once were and they don't give a shit about continuity. I'm also mad they made Jackie an idiot again. She was such a great character in the first 6 seasons of Roseanne.

Hmmmm…I’m gonna wait for more details to come out before I decide what to think about him being fired. It’s odd considering he was on OG show for so long but nowadays people (men) have been doing some wild shit behind the scenes so I’m gonna withhold judgement until we’re given a reason.

However I don’t see why DJ leaving means his daughter has to leave too. Don’t love them conveniently writing out a little Black girl and possibly her Black mom.

The Variety article says she is returning.

Looks like they amended the original announcement
"The network previously stated that the actress had been downgraded to a recurring guest star. This story has been updated to reflect ABC’s correction."

But glad she can stay

roseanne and this show has ruined the legacy of the original. it's a shame too because i really did love the original as a child and it's sad that it's devolved into this.

Same. Like, I couldn't care less that Fuller House is bad because the org was too but the org Roseanne was amazing.
