The German Netflix Original series Barbarians (Barbaren) was renewed for a second season, Barbarians will be returning to Netflix in October 2022.

Gods no, this show was comically bad. The writing was AWFUL. I hoped the writers would be sent back to "Alarm für Kobra 11".

Yes, but will Folkwin come to his senses and join up with Thusnelda and Ari in an anti-Roman power throuple? (He won't, but a girl can dream.)

Seriously though, he knew Thusnelda was a strong-willed, independent fighter of a woman, and he encouraged that, but the moment she used her agency to pick someone other than him hew turned into just some other jealous, possessive, sexist jerk who thinks he's entitled to a woman.

I have not, I found a torrent! I'll check it out. I like watching tv to learn a language, it's essentially how I learned English. My German isn't so bad, but it's not great either 😂

I second Babylon Berlin, especially if you're going in with some knowledge of the Weimar Era (the time in Germany after the first world war and the rise of Hitler). It's detective noirish and extremely good.
