I have not, I found a torrent! I'll check it out. I like watching tv to learn a language, it's essentially how I learned English. My German isn't so bad, but it's not great either 😂

I second Babylon Berlin, especially if you're going in with some knowledge of the Weimar Era (the time in Germany after the first world war and the rise of Hitler). It's detective noirish and extremely good.

That’s how I learned English as well but somehow the same just isn’t happening with my Spanish. My BF is Mexican so we watch a lot of Mexican Netflix originals but nope nada. It also doesn’t help that the subtitles never match what is actually being said 😩
