Their most recent movies directed by “name” directors have either been meh or downright awful so they’re going back to “random nobodies” huh.

wym back to random nobodies? There are very few MCU movies with random nobodies directing. From the top of my head it would the Alan Taylor for Thor2, Peyton Reed for Ant-man+2, Scott Derrickson for Dr. Strange.

Spider-man doesn't count since it's Sony.
