I show up to the airport like three hours early. What am I going to do, sit at my house to kill time and be worried about missing my flight?

But I also pretty much exclusively fly alone, so I can do what I want on my own schedule lmao.

I’ve traveled a ton for work and this has always been my approach. I would grab a coffee or a beer and chill with a book or podcast - completely unstressed about missing my flight.

same, I show up early, get through security, go buy Starbucks/breakfast, then chill. I don't need to feel rushed/scarf down food. lineups for food are insane the closer it gets to flight time!

I live 7 minutes from my small ass airport that has 3 gates and even i show up an hour ahead of time even when I check in online (my father always wants to leave earlier to drop me off)

I primarily fly out of one of the busiest airports in the world so getting at the airport at 530 for a 6 flight is like...unfathomable to me. For a 6 flight, I would probably be arriving at 2-3.

this is me as well and i live like 10 minutes from there. i even have tsa precheck and i still show up 90 minutes before a domestic flight, obviously more for international. you don't mess around

Yeah they have plane scheduled take off & landing times for safety reasons
