I've enjoyed Bruno's music over the years but Silk Sonic is the first time where there's a level of authenticity to the sound that elevates it above well done pastiche.
very cute video, love the throwback sound! i've gotten really into watching roller skating videos on tiktok, they're so joyful. i never got over my fear of any kind of skating as a kid but lately i've been thinking about getting a helmet, knee and elbow pads and just giving it a shot. it's such a big investment tho, i wish i knew someone i could borrow them from!
I feel the same way. I wanna learn to roller skate but it's a time and money investment. Plus a lot of falling lol. And it's not cute watching someone fall all over the place if you're an adult lol. Plus I'm like, where would I practice and who would teach me? But I don't wanna go my entire life not knowing how to skate.
The one good thing about the 21st century is that you can learn anything online as long as the teacher is good. All you need is a lot of patience and a flat service like a basketball court or grass even. Learn how to fall safely to protect your wrist, tailbone etc. A hoodie around your waist with the hood tucked is is a good cushion. Here are some good videos for begginers. Remember, Rome was not built in a day. Take your time.
