LOL, you ain't lying about men in power.

I feel sorry for Ray Fisher, but I also wish he didn't go so far with Hamada. When you are dealing with someone in power, someone who is Asian in power, one thing that East Asian don't tolerate is humiliation in public.

People in general don't like to be shamed in public, especially when it comes to office politics. When Ray called Hamada out in Twitter, that's when I knew Ray got himself blacklisted. Nobody likes to be shamed in public.

Ray should've done it like The Art of War by Sun Tzu. Do it in stealth, not public.

lol a white woman found no evidence of racial insensitivity? Shocking.

She probably saw that no one said a racial slur out loud on set so, therefore, no racism! Everyone cleared of any possibility of racism!

What are microaggressions? Racism is a clearly defined entity and our understanding of it has not changed since 1950. /s

"Katherine Forrest, a former federal judge who conducted the WarnerMedia probe, told the Hollywood Reporter in a statement that in interviews with more than 80 witnesses, she found "no credible support for claims of racial animus" or racial "insensitivity." Whedon declined to comment."

From experience, I'm gonna say that when (white) people say racist shit they're REALLY choosy about who they say that shit around. It's typically in front of the person they're saying the racist shit too AND people they know won't call them out on it.

It could also be and again this is from experience, that (white) people tend to not notice racist shit as they'll brush it away with "I know that in their hearts they didn't mean it." Or won't acknowledge shit because again, they like their white privilege.

This. And from having to call people out on microaggressions *it's apparent that a lot of them don't realize that's a form of racism too.

I've also found that when I'm in the office and it's just me and another white person in a room, they'll throw out a testing question. I remember a new coworker sliding up with a "so what do you think about all that Kaepernick stuff" and after I said I agreed with him, she never came to me again.

I'm sure if I had agreed with her, she would have thought I was her new racist best buddy to gossip with behind closed doors.

For me, the proof has been shown by people who looked White to White people but were, in fact, p.o.c.
Story after story I've heard in media or in person, from those people talking about how in front of p.o.c. White people act one way, and then when they think they're only among themselves, say racist shit like it's going out of style and they gotta get it all out.

"Joss told [Gal] he can make her look incredibly stupid in this movie."

and he still did. flash falling face-first into diana's breasts for laughs was so cringy and humiliating.

joss is a huge piece of shit. and every ounce of goodwill i had towards geoff johns is gone. get rid of him.

iirc gal didn't even film that scene it was a body double and that's why diana's face is turned away.

hannahstarr April 6 2021, 18:20:56 UTC
yeah, she refused to film the scene so they had her body double step in

Just to add to this thread, + he intimidated/threatened Gal's body double to do the scene (he locked her in a room and threatened her career)
