I thought for sure that Lillith killing Adam would be a fake out to trick Lucifer so she could ahve him be raised safely somewhere else for 16 years but nope, she actually just bloodily murdered her son and then....didn't really care? Like after thinking she was being haunted by Adam and then she stabbed Lazerus, she was just like "Welp I'll just take over hell again
( ... )
I was waiting for him to be a trickster! But he was literally so helpful? Talk about a walking talking plot device. Like the writers gotta give me more than that? Who is he?
I agree with a fair number of your criticisms but I do have one question. [Spoiler (click to open)]How was her giving her life to save the world not doing anything selfless?
Yeah I found that the episodes dragged horribly. It seems to be a Netflix standard now that most of their shows have episodes that are an hour long or more, aside from the occasional show with 30 minute episodes that is, but the old network standard of having to tighten up your episode and edit it down to 40-45 minutes seems to have died out completely. And honestly Sabrina was one show that never needed hour long episodes after the pilot, 40 minutes always worked fine for teen dramas
[Spoiler (click to open)] Dorian Gray - excoriated by one of the eldritch terrors Sabrina Morningstar - died escaping The Void Baby Adam - Lilith killed him (her and Lucifer’s child) to avoid Lucifer’s taking him from her to raise on his own Father Blackwood - Prue hacks him up to make sure he pulls no more shenanigans Nicholas Scratch - Suicide by drowning to be with Sabrina Spellman and Sabrina Spellman - Effectively bleeds out to save the innocents who she (more or less) accidentally sends to The Void and effectively allow The Void to be trapped thereby saving the world
it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad even for like RAS like insanely bad they introduced so many new elements and plotlines and characters (what was the point of the swimmer love interest?) and major plotlines were never really explored (what happened to luficer? how could lilith curse him? how were they able to keep caliban in the void? what happened to blackwood's church? how was it possible for mary to be converted wasnt she super christian? adam?) idk it was tooo much and then they rushed the whole thing in the last 12 minutes it was so so so so soooo bad
