I’m not and I’m not here for weaponization of identity politics to absolve elitist entitlement. My comment here was a general statement made about the rich. My issue with Shonda specifically is her thinking this is some slay queen anecdote to bring up in national press when 28k Disney employees were fucking laid off.

Your inclination is always to tongue the boots of the ruling class-from cops to war criminals to rich celebs. I’m never going to take you seriously. Move on.

The context here is that others who've achieved for that company receive a perq that she was questioned about, denied initially, and only grudgingly got. That then didn't work.that's not true ( ... )

all disney employees who work for HQ get the pass, not just top disney employees. but it is limited to you and your immediate family. OR someone you can claim as a dependent.

I love how you ask "are you Black?" implying that if they had said "yes" you would have either agreed with them or apologized for questioning their race.

it is the way you have spoken as if you know me intimately that really gets me!

i asked her if she was black because i outlined why the situation was racist and she said she didn't give a shit/that simply did not matter. that's something only a black person gets to say and it's not "identity politics" to think so.

WHY does a Black person, who isn't the person in the specific situation get to say they didn't give a shit/it doesn't matter?

Again, if they had said "Yes" to the "are you Black" question, what would your reply have been? "Oh, okay, cool". or "as long as you're Black!"

i personally like things to be dismissed by people who have faced similar things. because otherwise the dismissal reads racist because it's literally not just any person's place to dismiss that? i don't get why this has to be explained...

now that i have explained, this conversation is over because this post is two days old and this is alreadfy getting cyclical. if you dont agree with me i simply don't care
