The context here is that others who've achieved for that company receive a perq that she was questioned about, denied initially, and only grudgingly got. That then didn't work.
that's not true.

top disney employees get, as a perk, free access to disney (in case of top employees like shonda they don't even need to get in line, etc) for them and their family (as in, partner and kids). they don't get extra of those. she got her usual perk but she wanted an extra one for her sister.

i mean, obviously it's stupid for disney to deny her (hence them losing her) but the story *isn't* her being denied a basic perk that is given to their employees (the OP summary saying this is the case is wrong).

also, i do love the level of fanfic this whole post is reaching. "oh i know a random accountant at disney who has access to the perks the creator with the $136 million contract don't". like, that's obviously bullshit lol, no random accountant, white or not, is getting a "yes" for a perk someone who's being paid over $100 million isn't. y'all can defend her intent of making a point about the structural barriers she faced without resorting to this.

all disney employees who work for HQ get the pass, not just top disney employees. but it is limited to you and your immediate family. OR someone you can claim as a dependent.
