I can't wait for the gritty reboot in like 20 years when he's actually portrayed as a sociopath.

I love that song and "Anybody have a map?" but I really don't get the hype over this musical with that whacky of a plot.

yeah it's easier to suspend disbelief age wise when it comes to theatre but for the movie it's a bit much

Amy's playing Cynthia so she won't be singing So Big/So Small unfortunately

I love queen Amy but can't stand that Ben guy. Recast him!

His dad is producing the movie so he can’t be recast lol: “Marc Platt, who produced La La Land, and Adam Siegel will produce for their Universal-based Marc Platt Productions.”

the plot for this sounds like such navel gazing sad white man hell

waving through the window is a good song though.

Sad white man hell is the best description for this show. I remember this show hit it big on the heels of the first wave of Hamilton craze, and I recall thinking, 'Really? This white-a-palooza? This sociopathic boy angst-fest? This is what we're stanning now? Have we gained nothing?'

The songs are catchy, but the plot is a disaster and most of the singers, Ben Platt (who is annoying but definitely has some pipes) aside, are just okay. We are not amused.

I don’t get why everyone was creaming themselves over this show - I saw it last year and was so underwhelmed and even fell asleep a bit lol- maybe the hype over it was Ben.
