The last movie I watched was Sweetheart, which was over the past weekend. I reallllly liked it!! Kiersey Clemons was great and the creature design was very cool. I really like it when horror movies make the most out of a confined setting and limited characters, and she basically carried the entire movie.

I'm really mad at the casting for You Should Have Left. I'll still watch the movie though lol I'm curious about the adaptation, I liked the book enough. I'll have to see how much it costs to rent though.

I watched that Natalie Wood doc and I wish it was just about her life and her career.

I'm glad I watched it because they did such a great job illuminating why her impression on cinema/pop culture was so lasting imo

Wow, thanks OP all 4 of the docs look really interesting! I think I'm gonna start with The Pollinators for now though, and watch the rest when I'm not extra hormonal and can handle emotions without immediately sobbing lol

Miss Juneteenth is good but sad and is totally the Nicole Beharie show.

The last movie I watched was Meditation Park this Canadian movie about this immigrant from Hong Kong living in Vancouver who finds out the husband she's emotionally supported her whole life is cheating on her and decides to live more for herself. It's not as rah-rah feminism as I would have liked and there is a super clumsy subplot but it was alright. Also Sandra Oh has a supporting role as the daughter and it's always nice to see her in things.

It's on CBC gem for people who want to watch.
