They went up there so she could have plenty of distance from him, lbr. I’m surprised she didn’t make him stay in LA

How is going to Montana the best way to do your part?

It's not; if they get sick or need medical care, they'll be taking medical resources from locals. They're selfish and wanted to protect themselves by holing up at their multi-million dollar cabin in the woods. Mayo of the woods for sure.

It’s not but the bonus is if they get sick enough most will get such substandard care their odds of making it are laughable ( ... )

So many people don't understand this about rural areas and the limited resources available. I have a family friend in Montana who is going through dialysis and he has to drive so far in order to get his treatments. It's heartbreaking, and when/if he gets the slightest illness it makes everything so much more difficult.

Sending good vibes your way, hang in there.

Yellowstone Club had about 864 members. It said membership cost a minimum of $400,000 to join, plus the cost of a $5 million to $35 million mountainside home, plus annual dues of about $42,000, according to members.

I had a friend who worked there for a summer. We joked at all the great tips she would make.

She didn’t. She made more at a college bar.

Fuck rich people.

I don't understand that shit at all. I feel like if I was rich I would get SO MUCH JOY (even selfishly) by giving big tips to people and watching their eyes light up.

As an apartment dweller, I am supremely, overwhelmingly, all-consumingly jealous of anyone with any kind of a outdoor space. If I had even just a dumb Juliet balcony with only enough space to stand on it, I'd be out there for hours just standing there like a crazy person.

I stand at my open window and stare sadly at my downstairs neighbour as she enjoys her garden and her dog. It’s the perfect sun trap, she’s sunburnt.

I have a little AC ledge that is starting too look very attractive. I went for a walk today and I was legit staring at people’s balconies and imagining how nice it would be to be able to eat dinner outside.
