Good, broccoli is delicious!

I like horseradish as a dip.

We just ordered chili garlic broccoli for dinner from our favorite Chinese place tonight. It was really good.

(We also had a few sushi rolls, shrimp lo mein and my dad got pepper steak with rice)

But the broccoli was the stand out favorite.

List is trash. Asparagus & zucchini are my faves.

My mom oven roasted some asparagus the other night. She offered me some but I kept saying nah, I’m good. Then I remembered the brussels sprouts I was offered years ago that I kept denying that were baked with olive oil, salt & pepper, etc that I ended up loving.

So I gave them a try and I’m officially converted. Asparagus. 👍

Cabbage and celery are the worst (celery is ok in stuffing). I've never tried beets or turnips.

Favs are corn, carrots, asparagus, and potatoes.

Ugh. Raw celery is the WORST. Cooked/in soup is okay. But how artichokes, mushrooms, brussel sprouts, and asparagus got lower than celery, I don't understand. I think a lot of Americans just haven't had veggies prepared well to know they can be delicious.

grilled artichokes with lemon, sea salt and butter with an aioli dipping sauce. I can eat that forever.

I think the stigma of stinky boiled brussel sprouts.

But if you roast them or fry them in a pan they’re freaking delicious.
