I’m seeing Moulin Rouge next month and I cannot wait! I’m so excited and I’m expecting a full on spectacle.

I'm seeing a musical about Blackbeard this weekend. The set looks really cool.

I'm also seeing Aladdin in August.

I was skeptical but I've seen clips and the trailer and it looks sooo entertaining. The set design looks crazy cool

I saw it when it premiered in DC and it was amazing. Such a fun show. I highly recommend it.

Sophia Anne Caruso. She's great. I saw the premiere DC and had a blast. I believe they've changed a bit since then though.

i haven't been to broadway or off broadway or off-off broadway in too long.

the last show i went to is straight white men, which was not what i was expecting and i loved.

i really want to see hadestown, thanks scriptedending for getting me into it.

ed harris looks old-scary instead of his usual old-hot in that picture.

yeah I thought the same re: Ed Harris when I saw that pic. he looks too old for the part, imo. :/

and glad that you like it! bc I am still obsessed and can't stop listening.

I am sure Freestyle Love Supreme will sell well because of LMM, but I honestly don't get how they are gonna charge Broadway prices for what I understand is a semi-structured improv show? Bananas. Has anyone seen it?

Mentioned this in roundup last week, but we saw Indecent in LA last Wednesday. We won the lottery at the Ahmanson, and they gave us excellent seats for once. It's a well-acted, moving show about the difficulties in producing the play God of Vengeance in the early 1900s. I'd recommend it if the tour comes to your town.

Freestyle Love Supreme is coming to DC in July (I guess a premiere before it debuts in NYC?) and tickets are $55-$99. Also:
Freestyle Love Supreme will be a phone-free experience. Upon arrival guests must secure all phones, smart watches, etc., in a lockable YONDR pouch that will remain in their possession throughout the performance.

oh yeah, I saw that! I know they already lock up phones for stand-up shows so it's not unprecedented, but I bet some people will be pissed.
