I wish our Masterchef was as good as Masterchef Australia! The US one is just so bad in comparison.

This show is my guilty pleasure. The second episode this season was so good, so freaking bizarre.

I'm watching that now. Wow...it's interesting. I can't see Part 2 until tomorrow through my dad's account. So I'm catching up now. I didn't know it was a thing for the most part. I keep forgetting that this his new Nightmares.

Anyone else thinking the owner is actually in a relationship with the "volunteer"? It seems bizarre to me that that woman is so involved and has a sense of ownership if she's just a friend.

yeah i thought the relationship between the "volunteer" and the owner was odd. it wouldnt be weird if they were like best friend but having the "volunteer" manage the hotel was weird.

This woman's children ought to be ashamed. If I knew my mother was sleeping on a wood board in a tiny room, I would not be sitting around worrying about the fact that the hotel I threw at her to keep her occupied might not make a profit.

Yeah there definitely seem to be some strange family dynamics at play here.

Yup. I bet she couldn't live alone anymore and her kid didn't want her living at his house so he bought the hotel instead for her to 'keep busy,' hopefully make money off the deal, and there would always be someone around to keep an eye on her.
