The guy looks like RuPaul.
Also, I miss Kitchen Nightmares, it's a shame 98% of them didn't make it

I loved it too, so it was an eye opener that so many closed down, I think there has to be at least an entire season or 2 when none of the restaurants made it. Bar Rescue's efforts (comparing them as a fixing failing business shows) seems to fare better

My boyfriend's little sister worked at a restaurant that was on Restaurant:Impossible. It closed soooo quickly after it was on the show. In fact, I'm not 100% sure it was still open when the show aired. Part of the issue was that it was in a shitty location in town. The show also staged quite a bit.

I've never watched that show, but I always felt so bad when I read that the restaurants in KN closed shortly after... I think a lot of it had to do with them being over 100k in debt, there's no way they could've been saved

eh, in most cases they sure won't last.
People have tendencies to fall into their old (bad) habits

Sometimes they don't--I've definitely seen an episode or two where they say the hotel went back to being a dump.

they don't last in most cases lol i'm amazing some of these shitty places stay open, even after the show airs their dirty laundry (or dirty kitchens).

I was dying at that part. When the owner turned to the employee and was like "Well, I didn't know that was a problem" I was like W H A T?
