I'm already sick of the sycophantic bullshit coming from so many in the film media over Allen at Cannes, but I think the tide may be slowly turning. Matt Zoller Seitz's piece was really powerful.

Hollywood Reporter's hypocrisy on this kills me. They gave him this big glowing front cover interview, then less than a week later hosted Ronan Farrow's letter calling him and the media out over the way they ruined his sister's life. This false neutrality bullshit is exacerbating rape culture and we're expected to be grateful to THR for hosting "the other side".
