French comedian drags Woody Allen to his face (and Roman Polanski, too, but Roman wasn't there)
I was going to use a gif of Woody Allen, but who wants to look at that creep? Anyways, that's Laurent Lafitte, a French actor, comedian and the host of Cannes Film Festival's opening and closing ceremonies. While MCing the opening ceremonies, Lafitte went in on Woody Allen, saying to the accused child rapist, "You've shot so many of your films here in Europe, and yet in the U.S., you haven't even been convicted of rape!" (It's a reference to Roman Polanski, who faces rape charges in the US, and thus shoots all his movies in Europe.) Gasps ensued from the stunned crowd of sycophants and shitheels. Other publications, such as banned source Deadline, even condemned Lafitte's comments for insulting Woody Allen. Fuck those people, and allez Lafitte!
