I usually consider these things from the victims POV, not the predators... I don't know how she personally feels about it, of course; but I would probably be a little skeeved having sexual abuse that happened to me being a punchline, even if it is accurate and even necessary on some level

And it keeps happening. I was thinking of how Catherine Hardwicke was smeared as over-emotional and that was the reason she was overlooked for both New Moon and The Fighter. "Over-emotional" in this context being her admitting she once took a few minutes to go off-set and cry a little, then came back and did her job. That was too much for producers and studios, so clearly the best choice for The Fighter was David O "abusive on set to his cast and crew and molested his trans niece" Russell.
