So, wow, I am just horrendous at updating. My average lately is once a month, if that! I'm going to spruce up my journal, get a new layout and maybe that will spur me to be better about posting. Fresh start and all that.

I haven't had much to post lately, so I've been reading a lot, no really, A LOT of fic and generally lurking. And watching tons of tv of course.
My latest (embarassing) show of choice is Mercy. I can't stand the lead nurse character, she's a million times more annoying than Meredith from Grey's, which is saying a lot. Yet I can't stop watching ( Read more... ) -

So I've been the worst LJ updater ever lately. Sorry guys!
Basically, this is because in the span of a week I:
1) Found out I am losing my job in Oct.
2) Went to a wedding
3) Went to a funeral
4) Am too exhausted to do much but eat, sleep, and read some fic before bed

Today is the most boring 4th in the history of boring-ass 4ths. It's been pouring ALL DAY which means no fireworks and everyone is napping and I am bored. Also, it's like the internets are on holiday too. Where is everyone??
Perhaps this is a good time to try and finish that ficlet for the st_xi_kink meme...

(1) Today I got an email titled: URBAN IN YR MOBILE.
i may or may not have flailed in excitement and wonder until I realized it had nothing to do with Karl Urban and everything to do with Urban Outfitters. Oh Karl, if only you were in my phone. Oh well, FML McCoy on Twitter is a pretty good substitute.
