It has been a busy week trying to get back into a routine again. I went to northern Ohio on Sunday to Amish County and had a good time. I just didn't have enough time to see everything. I guess I've had a lot on my mind since my daughter and granddaughter went home Monday evening. It is always a very hard time saying good-bye. I never thought I would be living this far away from them, especially with me being the one to move. We had a very nice Sunday dinner - about 15 people. I was a little surprised when my parents walked in with my ex-father-in-law. They go to the same church and they had invited him over for dinner. Wow, I had forgot all about poison ivy. I don't think I've seen it in Florida, but it's probably there. My grandaughter got into some playing with her cousin on Thursday. She comes screaming into my room later that evening, crying, scratching - she was covered. So now we are putting on the cortisone cream and giving her Benadryl. That really ( Read more... )

I'm sitting here making another list of all I need to do tomorrow. After I make all my phone calls, I guess we'll decide what the plan is for tomorrow. My daughter and granddaughter arrived yesterday. I picked them up at Cincy airport, went to lunch, dropped them off, showed several houses, and rushed back to get ready for Women's conference. Like everyone else, I just don't have enough hours in the day. However, the good news is I had my first real estate "closing" last Friday. "Closing" in my new career means you finally get paid.
