Night of the Hunter - Robert Mitchum Spirited Away (if you never did) or if you want to weep buckets instead, Grave of the Fireflies. Entourage, if you're not already a viewer.
I did see Spirited away. I am considering showing My Neighbor Totoro to my 3.5 year old. And Grave of the Fire Flies is a movie I also have. I forgot all about it. Thanks
Totoro is great for kids. We have both that and Kiki's Delivery Service, and T has them kind of conjoined in his mind as "Kiki-Todro." We also got Nausicaa from the library, and that was another one the kids watched several times.
I've been waiting to get/watch Mononoke and Spirited Away because they're a bit more mature/violent/scary. But I think that they could most likely handle Spirited Away now, so that's probably next on our list.
You shouldn't be watching any movies. You should be updating your livejournal with amusing anecdotes about your adorable children and your wonderful wife.
That's the only comment I can offer, because I haven't watched an entire feature length film in so long that I couldn't even tell you what it might have been.
And this is a movie I actually saw in the theater. With Alan. Cause we tend to go to deeply personal, highly emotional filmes together. Don't know why ;-)
See, I knew you would have one. No I have not seen brick. As far as all the movies I have seen, those mentioned above PLUS: The Empire Strikes out Brade Runner The Thing (Original)

the birdcage & bring it on are my favorite go-to happy movies, but i'm gay like that.
or you could do a run of 70's films: the graduate, midnight cowboy, nashville, breaking away ...
or you could do all the pixar movies, in chronological order, y'know, to see how they've improved over time and to preview them for the babes.
i don't know, really. what are you in the mood for? some of my favorites are listed in my interests, if that would help ...
