How do people do this?
I have taken a board position at The Boy's preschool. To do my job I have been given a Windows laptop running windows XP. For the last hour I have been try to print a single Excel file. That is not entirely true. I did spend 10 of those minutes entering some data on the spread sheet. This is a spread sheet that has been in use for years ( Read more... ) -

A couple if my favorite authors have been inducted into the science fiction hall of fame. Actually one of the all-time greats, and some other excellent choices. You really should read Lord of Light and I am Legend.

I have just completed reading a series of articles by James Strum regarding his 4 month experiment to stop using the internet. I must confess that this idea has occured to me many times. Old School
I found a cool little web site. Well two actually. The first one is the Old Book Illustration Blog. Just neat old pictures, the kind I love to look at.
The other is the WTF D&D feature at somethingawful.com. They poke fun at the art from old RPG books. The pictures are great, but underneath is an IM style commentary about the pictures. This ( Read more... ) -
