One of my all-time favorite movies is 'It Happens Every Spring' - a baseball movie with Ray Milland. Sadly, Netflix doesn't have it.
How about some J-P Melville? Le Samourai, Bob le Flambeur, a couple others I can't name off the top of my head. French caper movies from the 60s. Good stuff.
