It's the day after Christmas and I am suddenly rich.  I am now the proud owner of a toaster, which is terribly exciting.  I never eat sandwiches at home anymore 'cause I ahve been unable to toast the bread, but now I can toast to my little heart's content. The toaster was from my lovely sister Debby, who I promise to be more fond of in the future.

H. Bogart was born on Christmas Day? I didn't know that.

I'm not sure I could eat while watching zombies. I couldn't eat while watching "Deliverance" so my guess is the toasting would have to wait.

Things like that have never bothered me. I might have trouble eating while watching Audition or something like that, but a good zombie movie? Nah.
However, I may have misrepresented the day's activities. I am not eating toast right now, because I have no bread. I have gotten out of the habit of keeping bread in the house. I must go to the grocery before I can actually have toast.
Also, I am verry sorry that I missed your birthday on Thursday. But happy happy birthday, a few days late. You are nearly as cool as (and far younger than) Bogey, and if you had any movies I would watch them, but maybe I'll listen to some Book Talk later.

I have been trying to find out whose birthday we were celebrating with all these gifts and decorations. I happen to know Jesus is a guy from Mexico -- met him and he didn't strike me as one to get all excited about. But Bogart! My quest is over. From here on out it's Bogartmas!
