05. It was the WORST!

I realize how much I've neglected this journal, sir, but I swear it wasn't intentional! Last month, I was trapped in my basement, sir!

Ooh, you too!? I've been trapped in a wine cellar before! ...Which I guess is sorta like a basement? I just remember being bored and REALLY hungry.

I think I liked being in jail better. It was scary but at least they fed me there!

A wine cellar sounds just as depressing, dark and dank, sir! I wouldn't want to be stuck in one of those...

Yes! I whole-heartedly agree with you, sir! From my experience in jail, their mystery meat is actually not as mysterious as you think, sir!

Oh, it was so long ago, sir... but I remember it clearly! Like it happened only yesterday, sir! I was a murder suspect, sir!!

O...oh my! H-how on earth did you get trapped in the basement? And how on earth did you escape?!

I tripped and fell in, sir! It was horrible, and painful... so much pain, sir! I thought I was going to die in there, sir!!!

But I managed to escape by banging on the door all day and night, sir. My neighbor said he was worried about me, saying that I hadn't come out to water my plants for days, sir... and he heard my cries for help! Somewhat... I believe. Perhaps it was sheer luck, sir?
