Looming deadlines and late hours mean I'm running on much less sleep than I'd like to be now, and I may be guilty of indulging at times like these to keep myself going...I thought a box of fortune cookies on the way home earlier this evening ought to be harmless, but look at this dreadful thing that turned out to be inside!

I really ought to remember to keep this journal updated...That said, there isn't a great deal to say about life at the moment. Perhaps you've read of my terrible blunder from a few days ago.
I received a phone call from Mr. Schira this morning--from the sounds of things he was informed of what occurred during the site visit, and he's reluctant to allow me to continue handling the event.

I know it! Disaster follows me everywhere and waits to strike only at the worst possible moment!
